Installing plugins

The theme utilizes a plugin which display a set of featured articles on homepage. It also uses your wordpress gallery for retrieving image.
The plugin is included in the package and called "FCS"

If you have no luck uploading images via default wordpress media uploader then you can change the media.php file included in this package to folder wp-includes.This is only an option and if you get http error while uploading images.

So how to show featured articles on homepage?

1. Activate the plugin
2. Go to the settings page and set the alt and read_more texts to whatever you want (your language for instance)
3. Create a new category that is named FCS or "Featured"
4. Assign at least 4 posts to the new FCS-category
5. Every post has to contain a so called leadimage. That is done by uploading the image (if you do not plan to change the CSS, the image should be 655300 pixels) to any subfolder of your Wordpress Upload-Folder. Then you have to add a custom field to your post with a key called leadimage and a value that is subfolder/imagename.jpg

Done!
